The City of Québec provides the following services:

• Photo album of potential filming sites that match your script
• Filming permits and permits for parking on public property under the City of Québec’s jurisdiction
• Tailored support for your production team (municipal regulations, site jurisdiction, contact with site managers or intermediaries, suggestions for filming sites, etc.)
• One-stop shop for municipal services required during filming (30% discount on the cost of these services)

The City of Québec supports local productions through various financial assistance programs exclusively for local producers (Capitale-Nationale area). The City does not provide financial incentives for other productions, except for the 30% discount on municipal services.

To producers from outside Canada

• The Quebec Film and Television Council has information on the tax credits intended to encourage productions from outside the country to film in Québec.
• The federal government provides guidance on entering Canada and helps you determine if you need a work permit.
• Destination Québec Cité helps you plan your stay (customs, transportation, language, etc.).
• Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport has information about the local air service.
