The City of Québec will host the 2027 Canada Winter Games. The event will take place from February 27 to March 14, 2027.
Some 2,400 athletes will take to the streets in the heart of downtown Québec to push their limits in 22 winter sports. It will be a unique opportunity for spectators to see top Canadian athletes in action at breathtaking sports venues.

The City supports the Host Society of the 2027 Canada Games as part of a collaboration agreement. By hosting the Canada Games and getting involved in their organization, the City reiterates its commitment to the well-being of its youth and the health of its citizens.
The last Canada Winter Games were held in Prince Edward Island from February 18 to March 5, 2023. To get a glimpse of all the action, check out the photos and videos from the most recent games.
Interestingly, the very first games were held in right here in Québec 60 years ago, in 1967. That year, 557 athletes competed in 15 sports over a 9-day period. The resounding success of that first event paved the way for the Canada Games as we know them today.
